Rules No. 17 and 18 of the renovator warned

When you have a house, you quickly learn the usual rules of the renovation by a very simple method: trial and error.

We learned several rules since we shop owner and we've just add one to our list:

Rule No. 17: The circular saw MUST be used outdoors and

Rule No. 18: use the circular saw outside inevitably attract clouds and heavy rain

We have no closet doors for almost a year in our bedroom and we finally found the motivation to install. So Mr. Tinky and I took our good actions, we inquired at the center of Reno, we did all the necessary purchases, we read the installation instructions for the metal rail and we finally put our first sliding door . Everything was perfect except for one thing: the door was too high by 3 mm and it was rubbing on the carpet.

Never mind, we took our courage in both hands and we were home dad to borrow his table saw and circular saw her. Mr. Dad tinker and strongly suggested to make the cut on the outside, but the Lady boss (me) would not go down the whole shebang on the back porch when it was on the landing at the top of the stairs that the saw was used.

First observation: the use of said circular saw produces a huge cloud of dust that covers everything, everything, everything. (Luckily, we had closed all the doors, fior.)

Second observation: the cloud suffocates people in the room and more specifically those who have lung problems (me).

Third observation: the saw to release enough heat to start the smoke detector.

Fourth observation: listening to a fire detector for several minutes makes you deaf for several minutes.

Noting the disaster, Mr. tinker and I decided to cut the second door on the outside. Time to remove all tools and other clown, the rain showed up and we had to put everything inside.

So we still have no closet doors in our room, but we hope to finish the job by the end of the weekend!
