This Tuesday, January 25, 2011, we celebrated the institution's readership of three seminarians 2 th year. After the rite of entry into the Major Seminary and hospitality and expressed in the body of seminarians, the readership is the first step liturgical mark in our house the way to ordination as a priest.
When the time came, after a period of familiarization with the reading of the Scriptures, by the gradual discovery of the entire Bible, the patient study of texts, lectio divina, the bishop calls the seminarian to experience this with the Word of God as a service to it by the Church. During the liturgy of this step, the Church asks one established to make a commitment to love the Word of God, Read, listen, study, understand, live it, share it ... She asks him to get involved in his personal relationship with God, but also in the community celebration of prayer.
It Bogner Bishop, Vicar General of our archbishop, who came to preside over the liturgy in the chapel of institution. After presentation by the Superior, in turn, the three candidates were asked Institutions designated. They said "Here I am!" As did Abraham and Samuel, servants of the Lord. Then everyone walked and scored in his hands the book of the Word of God with these words that accompanied the rite: "Get the book of Holy Scripture and faithfully transmit the word of God, it is rooted and fruits in the hearts of men. "
The "reader" is chosen by the Church to proclaim the Word of God, an announcement that can be accomplished in many ways: from simple dialogue through joint research requirements the gospel from the catechesis which means enlighten and nourish the faith until initiation the sacraments that prepare adults and children, since the proclamation of Jesus Christ to those who do not know until the proclamation of the Word in the liturgical assembly.
The three seminarians have lived through this stage established liturgical surrounded by their families and friends and the whole seminary community. The event was extended into the fraternity friendly with good food.
