Invitation to share the life of seminarians during the Easter Triduum (21-24 April 2011)

Grand Seminary of Strasbourg, in cooperation with the Diocesan Vocations Service, moved to young people (18 + years ) who wish to share life and prayer seminarians during the three holy days of Easter .

Every year, these three days will be a highlight of recollection to follow Jesus in his path of death and resurrection. It will be punctuated by lessons, times of meditation and participation in the liturgies of the Cathedral.

This particular moment in the life of our Seminar will begin on Holy Thursday April 21, 2011 at 18:00 and will close on Easter Sunday April 24, 2011 after lunch.

Over these three days, the P. Wrinkle Louis (specialist in iconography at Pax Christi France) introduce us to the Paschal Mystery by inviting us to the meditative reading of some images from the Gospels of Egbert (Tenth century) .
Time fraternal meal and prayer time with the seminary community ...

... celebration of Easter at the Cathedral
Good Friday and Holy Saturday at 9am, the seminarians themselves will an office in the morning the choir of the Cathedral. This Morning service is open to anyone who wants to join. We will participate with all the people the great Christian liturgies of Holy Week at the Cathedral: In celebration of the Lord's Supper on Thursday at 19h, the Celebration of the Lord's Passion 15h Friday, Saturday Easter Vigil Mass at 20:30 and Easter Sunday 11am, after the office of Lauds in the seminar chaired by Bishop Grallet, archbishop of Strasbourg.
